Taylor Barnard will take the next step in his racing journey by joining DS PENSKE for the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The record-breaking British driver will line up alongside multiple race winner Maximilian Günther, forming one of the most exciting line-ups on the grid.

Taylor has made waves in the world of Formula E ever since his debut. In 2024, he became the youngest driver ever to start a Formula E race during the Monaco E-Prix, and by the end of Season 11, he had rewritten the history books. He became the youngest driver to score points, stand on the podium, and take pole position in the championship’s history.

Over the course of his first full season, Taylor secured five podium finishes, two pole positions, and a fastest lap, finishing fourth overall in the Drivers’ Championship. Taylor will get his first taste of life in black and gold at pre-season testing in Valencia, Spain, late October. It will be the first opportunity for fans to see him in the famous black and gold colours, with the car that he hopes will carry him to more podiums and potentially his first victory.

The season then kicks off on December 6 at the São Paulo E-Prix, where Taylor will make his DS PENSKE debut. With his rapid rise, growing experience, and the backing of one of Formula E’s top teams, there’s every reason to believe Taylor can once again be a regular contender at the sharp end of the field.
